I was fortunate enough to enjoy a jolly out with my eldest step-son on Friday to Frankfurt, Germany to ride British Airways brand new & first Airbus A380 Super-Jumbo.
It's still on proving and training flights until later in the month when it will make its first commercial long-hauler to Los Angeles; on 09/24. It will be just over one year from roll-out to entering commercial service!
It's a stunner! For those who can afford to turn left on entry - the ride will be fantastic. Pampering at its very best!
Anyhow, here it is on short-finals to FRA - Frankfurt Rhein-Main - Runway 25L.
If you look closely, you will see some shimmer... it was a roasting hot day... but I'm not complaining
