    Sisters together

    Not the best pic due to distance,equipment limitations but worthy as a record of these wonderful aircraft flying together for the first time in history and most probably the last. Was really worth the long wait at Waddington in the cold wind.

        Hi Doglet; I got a call from my father bragging that he'd seen the formation Well done for getting the shot; the weather looked awful...

        The briefing must have been interesting since the Lancs would have been busting a gut to stay pace with the Vulcan, which you can see from the high-alpha angle would have been flying as slow as it could!
