Typhoon/Spitfire syncro pair @ Dunsfold

[Stan]

Dunsfold yesterday, whilst the light started off well with some blue skies by the time the displays started at mid day the cloud was starting to com in and by 3.30 heavy rain. Have got a few keepers though and for me the stars of the show were the typhoon and spitfire syncro pair .

both shot in Tv mode with shutter at 1/320, ISO 400 with 70-200 f2.8 and 1.4x

Nice capture Stan. Pity about the strange colour sky in the second as that is great timing; by them and you!

that was like it was but I have now changed the colour balance slightly to remove some of the blue

Super timing Stan, lovely shots, shows well just how big the Typhoon is compared to the Spitfire.

Like the first picture - shows how small the old WW2 fighters are compared to their modern contemporaries.
