The last time I will probably ever see it

The Vulcan regularly flies over our village but today on it's last flight before retirement it passed by about a mile away in misty conditions at dusk, but I had to get a shot!

We drove up to Gaydon which is only about 40 minutes away to watch the display from a nearby field with a few hundred others. Still an object of beauty after all these years. Shame our country isn't interested in keeping it flying.

    BTW. My shots were rubbish.

You should have come up to Coningsby David for LLA day, the Vulcan flew with 9 Fighters, 7 Spitfires and 2 Hurricanes, Sky wasn't great, quite Hazy, but have some shots which will show tomorrow.
