Torbay Airshow...

... was this weekend.

I took lots of shots but, since Shoreham changed the rules the display 'lane' was so far out to sea that even my 70-300 at full stretch on a crop 7d meant the results were but memories of the day rather than the source of quality we strive for.

The only stand-out ones I've turned up so far are these three very different images:

Red Arrows on their first display of the year gave me this on the Saturday (I got an almost identical one on Sunday so these boys really are consistent):

The Tigers Freefall Display Team were happy to jump out of yet another perfectly serviceable aircraft for our entertainment:

All very good...well excellent actually...great compositions in 2 and 3....maybe 3 could be a bit brighter but I really like the three figures along the sinusoidal smoke ��

Great set I too like the Tigers shot as it's something a bit different from the norm.

I like to think the Tigers shot is something out of the ordinary. Processed dark so stressing the serendipitous sinusoidal smoke.
