    BBMF Public Display Approval

    Hi All,

Yesterday was PDA day at RAF Coningsby, when the flight and the display Typhoon fly their displays in front of a Senior Officer to be passed as fit to fly before the public. For once we were favoured by the weather Gods, it was just wonderful to see and hear these wonderful aircraft close up, sadly the Lancaster is still away at RAF Duxford undergoing major work

Great set Paul of some great aircraft that did this country proud together with their crews, and still are doing the country proud with their displays.

Excellent set of images Paul. I hope you won't mind me mentioning it, but I think the sensor may need cleaning.

That must have been great to watch Paul, you've captured them very well. The weather gods certainly gave you a lovely sky to work with.

Thanks for all the kind comments Guys, much appreciated. Yes Brian you are right, the spots don't show up on any wildlife shots, but stand out on clear sky, will have to get it done

Hi there Harewood, if you look on each image on the Flickr version it will give you the Exif details, for propeller aircraft you have to have a slow shutter speed which to be honest nowadays I struggle with, so I used 1/400sec, which with good light allowed F10 mostly
