Other Aircraft at RAF Leeming

As well as the visitors from Switzerland RAF Leeming has some other aircraft that were training. Mostly going up around and down, repeat as per requirements.

The Qatari Training Squadron usually fly most weekdays, though when I've been there previously they didn't hang around, they would just go off to return after a couple of hours. On this occasion they seemed to be practising their take off and landings. I'm not sure but it could be that they have some new trainees on the squadron.

5. Now for something a little quieter and slower. No prop blur on this one as I had the camera set for fast jets when this Grob trainer came around.

Yes Brian, RAF Leeming does seem to get used for regular exercises. Earlier in the year there was a joint exercise with parachutists dropping out of helicopters and airplanes. But the local photographers were asked not to post images on social media in which the parachutists faces were recognisable
