Thanks both. I nearly got deafened just before as I walked past the centreline when another one did exactly the same thing! Bad timing on my part plus I was expecting it to land.

I was once 'On the ground' when a Vulcan Bomber came in low. Not only did the ground shudder, every bone in my body did as well, and I was deaf for a week.
