    Trains from Pickering Weekend

    Hi All,

I think this is probably the first thread I've done with trains. I'm a bit reluctant because I don't think I'm particularly good at taking them - so here goes. These were all taken at the Pickering War Weekend.

Don't beat yourself up Neil, they may not be as good as your airplane images but they are a great advert for that war weekend showing the punters on the platform etc. I like the last one I can just smell the nostalgia it IYSWIM

I'd be happy with these image Neil. Especially like the BW versions.

2nd one and last one for me which suits its black and white processing.

I'd be more than happy with these. Like the use of B&W.

I really like the B&W ones Neil, nothing in them to tell they weren't taken in the 1940's, they convey the story perfectly.

                          Re: Trains from Pickering Weekend

I just don't see why steam trains are photographed in B&W.
Don't tell me "nostalgia" because I don't buy it.
It would be nice to see "Sir Nigel Gresley" in the blue livery as intended.

That's my moan for the day.
Now I do really like the last one even though it is in .... <cough> .. B&W

                          Great work as always Neil
