    Oliver Cromwell

    Seen here (just before the heavens opened), storming up a long 1/300 incline towards Lingfield station, doing 50mph. It really was quite a sight

                Thanks for you're kind comments. Got to say we all had a tear in the eye as it thundered past. Another one next week, if the weather holds. Im not good at standing around in the freezing cold!

                        Thanks and you are right - sort of - if you look at the dead tree and fence posts about 1 inch in from the right you will see they are vertical, so that would indicate the train is banking from L to R from where i was standing. Hope that helps. and thanks for looking and leaving a comment

                          when you see them on the elec line the lean is very dramatic ,so please look to see if they should be leaning abit ,a great sharp shot

                            Nice shot! I was of the same opinion as ST-EOS until I saw your reply, it should be leaning. I've spent enough time deliberating whether to square up buffer beams or not myself!
