the colour pop works really well, I would also try pulling the vibrancy right down rather than fully B&W ...

Alan, really liked the first, but then as you offered more, I preferred each one! My fave is now the HDR. I think mostly because of the little sign dragged out of the shadows which is otherwise missed, and adds a really nice point of interest.
