    Classic Cars

Went to a vehicle and steam rally today and as is usual with these events isolating vehicles from messy backgrounds and people is quite difficult. However we were some of the first to arrive and getting down really low and shooting at an angle overcame those problems. Both shot at the wide end of my 17-85

Both good shots Stan. I like the MG. I do like the low shot you are using. It gives a good perspective with the ground and the sky.Sometimes it is nice to have a few people in the shot to give it atmosphere. Yes or no??

          Thanks for looking guys

if they are relevant to the vehicle then sometimes yes but just other onlookers, they just get in the way

If you look at the left hand side of the citroen bumper, there is in fact the reflection of an onlooker

Like the low viewpoint Stan, the MG shot works really well with the blue bodywork and the sky as a backdrop.

didn't think to at the time although not sure it would have made too much difference with the good light
