Was nice to catch a look at the recently returned to running J27 , always nice to see ex-LNER engines on home territory !
Heard one of the Volunteers saying that by later in the year they'll have 8 working Steam Loco's available when 3 more return to service . Should imagine that will include the Raven Q6 and at least one of the LH&JR Tanks.
Should make for an interesting Holiday in Levisham in September.....

I was happy with them as they were taken from a moving train that had just come out of a tunnel !

Well taken though I agree the second feels like it could do with a little bit of a lift.
