    GWR 3205

This photo taken 9 years ago was with my Canon 40D!

GWR 0-6-0 No: 3205 is seen at the Royal Mile on the South Devon Railway working the 12.32 Totnes Littlehempston to Buckfastleigh service during the Jubilee Gala on the 4th June 2012
    .

Sadly, this lovely steam loco has not been in service since 2017.

      Thanks Trev.

In 2017, the loco was due it's 10 year major service but the South Devon Railway has not got the money yet to do it.

Nice shot - fond memories of my 40D.

Somewhere I've got a shot of this loco at Rainhill in 1980!

                  Great shot Colin!
Have the South Devon and Paignton/Dartmouth still got a degree of rivalry?
I visited both in the same week back in the mid 90s,I innocently mentioned to a porter at Buckfastleigh that I'd been on the P/D and got a very frosty look!

Have to say though that Buckfastleigh station is more picturesque than Paignton.

Interesting question as I never here any of these two railways mention about the other one!
