    Flying Scotsman

I was over at the Bluebell Railway last week to visit the Flying Scotsman 60103 which has been there both travelling the line back and forth between Sheffield Park and East Grinstead and on static display at Sheffield Park. As you would expect it was absolutely packed, both on the station and in the train.

A few pics of the event:-

At Sheffield Park. When it got back to Sheffield Park it was watered then paused at the platform for a while before going on to the front of the carriage set you can see.

Waiting to depart Sheffield Park (it was pouring with rain at the time plus a thunder storm)

Exiting the Sharpthorn Tunnel on route to East Grinstead. There is no turntable at East Grinstead so on the return journey its tender first.

Nice work, it was nice to see it up here earlier in the year, the Gresley loco's were fine pieces of engineering.

                A cracking set Ian.

I still prefer the original LNER livery and number though, don't like the smoke deflectors either.
