    Spring Rails & Ales

This morning I went out to Staverton on the South Devon Railway and the weather was really warm and sunny.

GWR 0-6-0PT No: 6412 is seen approaching Bishops Bridge on the South Devon Railway working the 10.30 Buckfastleigh to Totnes Riverside service during the ‘Spring Rails & Ales’ on the 25th May 2024

I do like a Pannier Tank, reminds me of holidays in the 50's and early 60's in Somerset and Devon
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way

          Another fine shot Colin.

I'm sure you went for the 'Rails' and the 'Ales' part was just a very happy coincidence...
