For all you rail buffs out there, this is one of the most spectacular train trips in Europe - the Jungfrau railway making its way to Kleine Scheidegg from Grindelwald (in the background) in Switzerland's Bernese Oberland.

Re: Mountain railway
Deva - thanks for posting this!
Brought back great memories of time spent in this area. We used to use the camp site in Lauterbruhnen, and went up to Kleine Sheiddeg from the Wengen side. 1 year my dad and I walked up! Did you manage to get up to the Schilthorn (Piz Gloria) at all? Fantastic panorama shots from there, and a rather nice revolving restaurant!
If you have some views of your trip, especially from round this area, I'd be more than happy to view them!
Thanks again, all the best, Mike.flickr

Re: Mountain railway
Mike - Yes, we have done it all in this area. We have been going to Grindelwald for 20 years in summer and winter. My wife had a birthday lunch one year in the Schilthorn restaurant. It is a wonderful area for hiking and landscape photography.EOS600D, 17-40mm L, 70-300mm IS, 50mm f1.8, 18-135mm STM, Powershot S95, 12 extension tube, Speedlight 380 EX.
