    the gale force winds up here today suppressed the birds but brought out the windsurfers ,so why not .west kirby marine lake on the wirral the hills of wales in the bokah

        I like both of these Jeff but they are rather tight in the frame and the rules of composition I think apply to sports just the same as wildlife - have the subject moving into the frame not out or in the centre

          The idea Stan was to show the wake ,but each to there own I would have preferred waves and jumping but rare up here..and composition was the last thing on my mind I was sat in the car with 60 mph winds shooting over the top of the lakeside railings .it is what it is

            Both shots work for me Jeff the first just edges it, the background on the second has a weird sort of sky if it is sky as there straight lines

            Stan there are no rules in composition its each to their own and rules are there to be broken and as Jeff pointed out he wanted to show the wake of the surf and thats good enough for me, afer all its his image

                Love the colours and for me the first is the best.

                Agree with Stans point on the second image more.
