I have one of these and a couple of the smaller versions and they do what I need them to do. I have used the small versions to add some additional soft light to outdoor macro shots and the larger one as a reflected infill on portraits.

Yes you can spend more and get better reflectors but for what I need them for these are pretty good value for money.
