White Lens Paint

Anyone with a white Canon telephoto/zoom will know only too well how easily the paint can chip and show the black underneath, especially on the tripod mounting foot.

I bought some exact paint a couple of years ago and lost the details. Now I see the chappie is advertising again and this appears to be the exact same stuff, in the same pots that I use. I have used it on other peoples lenses more than mine, but dotted on carefully, you can't see the difference.

Perhaps this is another reason to use a lens coat? i.e protection for the lens.
