bought my first set of studio lights

Took the plunge and bought my first studio setup it consists of two Courtenay 1000 Solaflash units, two stands and four reflector brollies all in £40.

Looking forward to using them now.

Hi Stan yes they are used he had a studio setup in his garage and stated that the lights were always stored in their original boxes. They are literally as if I have just bought them new.

I did a goole search on them and they are quite old but if they do the job and for £40 you cant go wrong

Thats what I thought my thinking behind it was that it would cost me more than £40 for the stands and four umbrellas that came with the lights. He also gave me a load of leads to suit any camera make apparently. I will however be replacing the leads with a wireless setup as more funds become available.
