    ExPro batteries 5DmkIII

I've just bought two of these....neither has charged properly; is there something I should know regarding compatibility?

I donot know what you paid but I will give you a very good tip that's coming from an old pro. Never, never buy equipment from an old pro.
I've been one and usually their equipment, including batteries, especially batteries, have probably been fast charged so many times that
there is nothing left. My next tip will cost you lol. I told you I was an old pro.

Have some Ex-Pro batteries for my Panasonic TZ30 and they are OK.

Have a couple of third party batteries (not sure of make) that I got with battery grip for my 60D (same battery for 5D3). These charge up fine in the 60D charger but not on the one that came with the 5D3.
      Canon 5D3, 7D2, 60D, Canon 70-200L f2.8 IS II, Canon 300 f4L IS, Canon 16-35 f4 L, Canon 24-105mm f/4L IS USM, Canon 1.4 MkIII extender, Sigma AF 10-20mm f/3.5 EX DC HSM, Sigma 150-600 Contemporary, Tamron SP AF 70-300 F/4-5.6 Di VC USD, Canon EF-S 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS

This has maybe answered my question I'v posted on another thread about after market batteries. I think I'll stick to Canon genuine batteries.

Very interesting, thanks Antoeknee.....looks like the 5D charger is to blame. I have ExPro batteries for my Fuji gear and they work great.
Thanks also Treff...but it's a make not a real ex-pro....I'll remember not to buy from them anyway thanks!
Looks like I'll have to pay Canon prices...a lot more than £8 each I paid
