    550D and Battery Grip

    Hi Guys

I have recently bought a s/h 550D which came with a Canon Battery Grip and 2 batteries.
Do you guys leave the battery grip in place all the time or only when you specifically need it ?

    thanks

    Graham

I always leave the grip on once fitted to camera.

        Re: 550D and Battery Grip

Three reasons to keep the battery grip in place:
        • The extra battery capacity - shoot all day without concern.
        • Better balance with the grip in place - though slightly heavier.
        • It looks cool - by far the best reason.

I have been planning on getting myself a battery grip. For the reasons given above I am sold!
