    Welsh Steam...

I'm just back from a motorbike tour of Wales taking in both the Welsh Highland and Festiniog Railways.

Here's a few images shot on my motorbike-friendly G10 converted to mono as it just seemed the right thing to do

Ex-SAR NGG 16 Class Garratt No. 87 at Waunfawr Station on the Welsh Highland Railway:

Ex-SAR NGG 16 Class Garratt No. 138 at Waunfawr Station on the Welsh Highland Railway:

Double Fairlie Iarll Meirionnydd (Earl of Merioneth) backing onto its train at Portmadog Station on the Festiniog Railway:

And one more in colour - Waunfawr Station with Snowdon in the background.

    Nice set John.
B and W works well with these and then last one in colour is appropriate

Nice work, all good but No2 is my pick.

Very good set John, the second is very well composed and processed too. To be a little critical, the first could use a touch more contrast.

                  Thanks folks

Alan, yes I agree about the contrast on the first so I've replaced it with a new version.
