Hi I hope that someone here can clarify what I would need (Hardware) to run a dual monitor system on my PC.
The PC has an i7 CPU, 16mb of RAM with the OS (WIN7 64Bit) LR4.1 and PS5 on a 120GB SSD (OCZ Agility3) the PC also has a 1000GB 7200rpm HDD. I’m currrently using the onboard graphics capability of the motherboard (ASUS P8Z77-V-Pro) with one monitor connected. The motherboard is capable of running dual monitors.
I have watched the Julieane Kost video on using dual monitors in LR as per the post in the hints and tips section of this forum. I have two monitors available (a Dell2209WA and a LGIps235) and would like to have them both attached to the PC
But...my confusion is around whether or not I could colour calibrate the two individual monitors (using a SpyderPro3 device) when the monitors are both connected to the motherboard backplane i.e. using the onboard graphics of the motherboard.
Or would I need additional hardware and if so what would I need.
Thanks in anticipation
Peter
