I took my EOS 450D to the USA in June this year, and while there managed to get some dust on the sensor and image focusing screen.
No big deal I thought as the dust on the sensor was not too bad and I could give it a clean when I got home. I purchased one of the Dust Wand kits and gave it a clean, took a few pictures of a blue sky at f22 downloaded them onto the PC and all was good, then began the problems and hence my warning to others. If you get dust on the image focusing screen only use a blower to dislodge it, do not do as I did and take it out to give it a good wipe
it is easily scratched and now is 10 times worse than it was.I now await this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWNX:IT to arrive from China to remedy the problem.
