Error Code 1

Can anyone tell me what this error code is please? I have recently had my 350D repaired after it was not focussing and this code popped up after only a few uses. I turned the camera off and took the card and battery, error code disappeared when tried again.

I think it is clean the lens contacts

...and the matching contacts in the cameras, especially if it happens with different lenses attached.
