Is there any issues buying a Mark III from the USA, it's a listing on eBay from a reputable seller?

Best price in UK is £2999.00 but Kerso are selling the 5D mkIII at £2639.00 (although currently out of stock).
If imported yourself from outside the EU then you may incur import duty so may actually be more expensive than purchasing locally.
Companies like Kerso (Flash Camera) who import from USA take the sting out of the tail and therefore no added duties apply.

Thanks. This seller is UK based so no issues on import tax. I just wanted to make sure that it would all work as if it was bought in the UK.

That's not strictly true Stephen, there is 0% Import Duty on digital camera bodies. However 20% VAT 'may' be applied and that will include the shipping charges as well.

For peace of mind, that's what I would recommend.

Look at HDEWcamera.co.uk.
They are selling a 5D MkIII body for £1315.
It will also be a USA model but they also give a three year guarantee (1 year through a Canon approved company anf the other two years under an ibsured scheme.
I bought my 60D body from them and it cost me just £630 including a 3 year gaurantee.

If you are referring to HDEW then yes they are very legit. I have bought two lens from them and their customer service is excellent.
Ring them and have a talk to them.
If you live near to them then go along to their shop and poke them with your finger to satisfy yourself they are real people who know how to treat customers with good old fashioned customer service.

Procamera Shop was who I was looking at, and I read some good reviews on the net. Thanks it's nice to know that a real person has used them & all was ok!
