650D servo focus

I read that the 650D's servo focus or continious focus is only available with the stm lenses,would this mean that in still shooting a moving subject cannot be tracked as in predictive focus with a non stm lens?

I don't know but would imagine it is referring to continuous focus in movie mode (not possible on the 600d) I am sure for stills any canon AF lens will work fine
