    Dust in viewfinder

    Hi All,

I have a EOS 650d with dust in the viewfinder! It doesn't seem to be coming out on my images so isn't that important... Just wondering if there is any way of removing it? I have cleaned the inside of the camera, including parts I shouldn't have!! The dust is still there though. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it one bit, the time to worry is when it is on your sensor It's not the end of the world then!

I have one spec on my 600's viewfinder too, I can't shift it! I know it doesn't effect my images, but when I come to sell my camera, I guess it might be a bit off putting.

I had one spec that was annoying me until I tried to clean it last night ad now have several, can't shift them!

I'd imagine its behind the focusing screen part now so it will have to stay there by the looks of it!

It's nothing to worry about at all, you'll get used to it if it's annoying you at the moment too.
It can't be anything like my old Pentax DSLR, there's less viewfinder than dust in that thing.

If its seen through the viewfinder, the dust is probably in the ground glass and easily removed with a brush or blower.
I once had a midgie crawling about in there - Now, that was scary!!
