The mk4 has officially been set up now for motorsport only, the mkiii is my everything else body.

How well do you think the 5Dmkiii would manage shooting sports events ?

Hey Paul,

I have no doubts at all that it would handle just about anything you could throw at it, hand on heart if the mk4 died tomorrow I wouldn't hesitate to replace it with another mkiii.

Not a sport shot I know BUT - stood on a beach and heard the Eagle screech as it came over the top of the tree's, literally had about 4 seconds to turn / focus and take a single shot before it was away again - this is unbelievably cropped as well and it still has the detail

1/1000, f/3.5, iso 100 at 300mm, 5/3+ ev bias direct into the sun (hence the blown out tail feathers)


Shame you couldn't do Cadwell this weekend as I could have chucked it in the bag as well for you to try.
