    Re: 70D

The 70D certainly does tick an awful lot of boxes and looks to be an excellent camera for a surprisingly reasonable price!

Add a couple more Custom modes on the dial and make it FF, and it would be what I hoped the 6D would be.

      Now there's a thought .... The Canon EOS-BYOC. Choose the bits you want - 5D3 body, 1DX AF, 1DX Metering, 1Dc viewfinder, 70D Gubbins ... then print it using a 3-D printer ...

      Build-Your-Own-Camera ... whatever next.

I think it will come down to price as others have said. I would love a FF but I really don't think the 6D configuration is for me, and it is still too expensive - I have no need for GPS, the AF on the 6D is no better than my 600d (apart from low light performance) and whilst I rarely use the pop up flash for fill, I do use it to control my 430, if I went with a 6D I would have to get a trigger or a 580 also

Still I am not too fussed on the articulated screen either

        Guess I would like a hybrid 6d/70d

wonder if Canon will make a special 76D just for me?
        If you pay enough ...
        With kind regards,
