    Sorry to hear that Paul. I owned a 7D (now sold) and it produced ultra sharp images - could yours be a Friday afternoon edition ?

      I'm a new 7D owner but I've only managed to get out for about an hour with it so far on a cloudy day. Those shots we're not great (no keepers) due to noise if I used a fast enough shutter or softness if I didn't. Let's hope things improve with practice but I am wondering whether I should have just waited and saved up to go the 5D3 route for wildlife.

        I wouldn't worry Lee. I'm sure you'll be fine with the 7D. I just can't gel with it. If it ever makes you feel like there's something missing then maybe start to worry, however, more often than not most people are perfectly happy with theirs.
