Re: Canon 7D Calibration.
having faffed about with this a lot when i first got the camera and lens and did the proper set up at a normal viewing distance for my normal subjects ,i found that the chart gave me a plus 8 setting ,but since then i have actually returned it to zero and am getting sharper shots ,i think (gut feeling) that the 7d is such a complex camera that a couple of wrong or slightly out settings in the menu and/or a/f set up can then throw your whole back/front focus out of sinc.
when i borrowed the 1D3 the other week it was simply a case of putting on the lens and it was perfect ,the 7d has been a lot more complex possibly down to the fact its a smaller sensor cramming more in .some decent weather to get some real time situation shots would help but its falling into place .
