    Colour Space Question

I use a 7D but what is your opinion on which Colour Space to use Adobe RGB or sRGB - I print out to a Canon Ink Jet Printer ?

    Re: Colour Space Question

I always use sRGB as do nearly all amateurs.

      sRGB for web sharing
AdobeRGB seems to be preferred for printing.

My advice is to just never mess with the colour spaces. I started changing it all in LR and photoshop and messed it up causing my images to look all green in my iphone and Picfair but looked fine on Flickr.

Unless a specific print lab requires you to change it, honestly, it's a headache to look into. lol

        I agree with Paul.
Just check whatever the colour space is on your camera is the same as you have set in photoshop etc
        Hope this helps

          Re: Colour Space Question

ALWAYS use sRGB otherwise you are dealing with colors most devices (including pro printers) cannot handle so clipping will occur. If you always work in sRGB you know you are in control because what you see is what can and will (if you are calibrated properly and have used the ICC profile of your print lab) be printed.

IMHO use sRGB unless you are planning to be very careful, as it's pretty easy to end up with a very flat looking picture in AdobeRGB.
