    The 24-105 f4L lens is a tried and tested lens and I will not replace it for any of the newer lenses. It is a medium wide angle and short tele lens and excellent value for money.

      Another vote for the 6D / 24-105 L combination which is a great walk-around lens. If you need a wider aperture then you can later add a prime such as the 50mm f1.4 or 85mm f1.8.

        If I was buying it now I'm not sure what lens I'd buy. Probably the 16-35 F4. The 24-105 is very good vfm though.
