    Distortion Correction

I seem to recall this being mentioned somewhere but does anyone have an understanding of what this means for my 7D2 and Sigma combo. If I turn off Distortion Correction my burst size at full size raw goes from 12 to 21, which is nice but not completely necessary as I don't tend to use that size burst.

But am I losing anything by turning this off? I don't think I am because a) the 7D2 doesn't have any correction data for the Sigma and b) as I'm using Lightroom I can apply the corrections in post processing.

I'd be interested in any thoughts...
