    EOS 7D eyecup issue

Is anyone having problems with the fit of eyecups on their EOS 7D.

A customer has just returned an Anti-fog Eyepiece Eg saying that it falls off when the camera is inverted. I have tried it on the office EOS 7D and, although a little loose, the side clips hold the item in place until you squeeze the sides.

I have spoken to the customer and do not question that, with his 7D, there is a problem. The standard Eyecup Eg is also very loose on his camera, though not on ours.

I'm interested to know if this variation in fit is common.

Robert - just checked mine. There's very little play ... and it will not drop off on its own. In fact it needs a firm squeeze to remove.
