    EOS R won't switch ON.

Hello everyone l hope you can help, l have been using my EOS R without the grip fitted for a while, and everything was ok, but l needed to replace the grip which l did, and l also decided to charge two batteries whilst the grip was fitted to the camera, l have done this a few times before, but after a few minutes l noticed the green light flashing on the battery grip, so l thought it was something to do with the charge levels and tried turning the camera back on to see what if anything was showing on the screen, but it wont come on l have tried different Canon batteries, and leaving the camera without a battery fitted for 15 minutes but still it won't switch back on. Anyone out there with any idea what l can try next?.
    Thanks in anticipation.

Sounds very odd….is the lens fitted properly…just thinking if the contacts are not lined up properly then it I might be protecting from shorting out.

      Found this on Reddit.
      • Take the lens, card, and battery out
      • Turn the power switch on
      • Hold down the shutter button for 20 seconds
      • Turn off the power switch
      • Put the battery in and shut the battery door
      • Turn the power switch on

Apologies for this but when you took the battery grip off and put a battery back in the camera you did remember to refit the battery door didn’t you? The camera won’t work without it and it’s easy to forget. Other than that it sounds like a call to the camera shop
