    Remote wireless Shutter release for R6 MK2

    I have just replaced my EOS 6D 2 with R6 2 I have a a canon Rc-6 wireless shutter release but cannot work out how to pair it up with the new camera, advice would be very much appreciated.

    This is not something that I have tried but the manual describes using remote control BR-E1, there is no mention of RC-6 so it might be that it is not compatible. I use a remote plug in cord.

        I have just had an R6mk2, Canon Connect on Android doesn't think it's compatible - R6, fine, but not the mk2.
        Canon EOS7D mkII+BG-E16, Canon EOS 7D+BG-E7, Canon EF-S 10-22 f/3.5-4.5, Tamron Di-II 17-50 f2.8, Canon EF 24-105 f/4L IS, Canon EF 70-200 f/4L, Sigma 30mm f1.4 DC HSM 'Art', Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM, Sigma 1.4x DG, Canon Speedlight 430EX II (x2)
