The word photography derives from the Greek φωτός (phōtos), genitive of φῶς (phōs), "light" and γραφή (graphé)

ETTL-II compatible, fairly powerful, wireless-slave (but not master) compatible, relatively slow recycle times, no supplemental fill-in flash (thought that's of little use really).

    Check out Speedlights.net review.

Alternatively the Yonguno YN565 is well specified, and has a LCD screen for a similar price.

It may be worth looking around he speedlights.net site as Nissin and Yonguno produce a variety of flash which rival the various Canon models at a fraction of the price if you're going to be an occasional user, alternatively look for a second-hand Canon model. Do be aware of the different specification of each incarnation of the models though, your 60D is optical-wireless enabled and it'd be a shame to miss out on a compatible flash if you were to choose a lessor/previous model especially when buying second-hand

One further thing to consider is batteries, using alkaline cells will quickly empty your wallet, so budget for at least one set of four rechargeable batteries. The (slightly more expensive at around £6 for 4 AA cells)) Hybrid/Hybrio cells are great if you use the flash infrequently, as they retain their charge for far longer than the standard LiMH cells. You'll also need a charger, ideally an intelligent four-channel charger (around £30) rather than the cheaper simple two channel chargers which charge cells in pairs (around £10). The intelligent chargers will maintain optimal performance for your cells and ensure they're always at their best but if you're only using it infrequently, then the cheaper option should be fine.
