    Flash batteries

Just a thought. Why doesn't someone make a flash-gun that uses the same battery as the camera? Don't they deliver the correct type of power?

yeah good point, but whats the price of a canon battery over good set of re-chargeables ?

        Re: Flash batteries

Using batteries in a flash is expensive for me, when doing events i find myself putting new batteries in all the time just to make sure i get full power and a quick recharge so flash is ready to go again and again.

Seriously thought about getting the Ilux V860c(also known as godox)as this unit comes with a Li-ion battery which can be firered 650 times at full power and also has the advantage of been rechargable just like the cameras batteries.
