    24-100 f4 macro setting

I'v just acquired a used 24-105 that came without instructions. Do I have to set the macro gauge at specific point eg 'infinity' to use the telephoto or doesn't it make any difference?

    Thank you.

The word photography derives from the Greek φωτός (phōtos), genitive of φῶς (phōs), "light" and γραφή (graphé)
