Superb relatively inexpensive L series lens. A bit slow and therefore needs good light to get reasonable shutter speeds for hand held. Lack of IS never considered a problem with the shutter speeds you should be using. Works well on a tripod for slower speeds.

With respect, your request for sample images is not relevent unless you have access to the full resolution files. At 72 DPI resolution for the net, a top lens will not show much different to a mediocre lens.
