    Tokina 50-135mm anyone?

I like the specs and reviews on the Tokina 50-135mm and the range suits me. I know about the quirky MF switching as I have a 12-24mm already and I am not bothered about lack of IS, but does anyone have practical experience of this lens and can offer me any advice on buying one of these?

    Thanks in anticipation

    Regards

This lens is genetically very close to the Pentax 50-135 which is a excellent lens, pin sharp with very good colour and contrast. In fact it is the reason I keep my Pentax K20.

    Oh Lord won't you buy me a 300mm F2.8L (or at a push, a 200-400 F4).
