Richard, you are now returning to my original point, we need good data not weasely words.
yes I use the DoP , it works better now on digitalcameras than I remember on film cameras.

Does anyone use the DOF preview button? AND it's a shame now that lenses do not have a DOF scale, like on the old lenses and film cameras. If one had this, then it would be much easier to work out what DOF you will get, depending on what apterure or focal lenght you have!
