    New (old) lens and pleased

My average purchase time is around 3 months for any gadgets and this lens has taken more than 6 months after so many views of reviews and videos and renting and trying out ext e.c.t....

Finally narrowed it down to 300mm prime and because i am only an hobbyiest and not able to pacify myself of spending so much money on the newer version of IS i bought this second hand 300mm f2.8 non IS, which is about 20 years old but cosmetically looking good and optically as well, took it out for some test shots and pleased.

The AF is lightning quick even with 1.4x TC.

    Here are the results.
