Typical, got my 70-200L 2.8 yesterday and weather has been grey with drizzle ever since.

Managed to get out briefly today. Weight doesn't seem too bad to me. Can see why this lens is a favourite of so many users. Zoom from 70 to 200 is only about 15-20 degree twist of ring.
