    New Lens

    Typical, got my 70-200L 2.8 yesterday and weather has been grey with drizzle ever since.

    Hoping for better chance to get out and try tomorrow.

      Enjoy the lens, if I handle the weight all day it would be my walkabout lens

        Balance on 5D3 feels really good.

          That's why I settled on the F4 version. Back pack already far too heavy.

            Managed to get out briefly today. Weight doesn't seem too bad to me. Really impressed with IQ and AF speed.

                Not really had too much chance to get out and about but did a few test shots.

                Really like the way the background can be thrown out of focus. Used on this shot, f2.8 and focused on bracken

                Can see why this lens is a favourite of so many users. Zoom from 70 to 200 is only about 15-20 degree twist of ring. ANd balance on 5D3 seems very good.
