Nice compliment - hope they are paying you well for the usage. Remember it would have cost them many pounds to employ a "professional" bird photographer to seek out such a shot.

I understand that. A friend of mine who is an extremely competent natural history photographer and amateur does not chase sales, although occasionally will take money if someone comes to him for an existing photograph.Originally posted by the black fox View Post
Remember that Sigma has just advertised the ability of their lens to a potential audience of several billion people. I am sure their advertising budget would easily run to the cost of the lens you have just bought!
