    Been sick for a couple of days so haven't been out with it yet but young Amber graced me with a quick snap opportunity


    Big weekend racing this weekend so hopefully I will be well enough to lift it for 10 hours a day - may have to give in and use a monopod

                            Few shots with the 1.4 engaged - pretty rubbish day all in all but hey, rather be ill outside than on the sofa. . . quite heavy crops as well as nothing wanted to play today grrrr

                            #1 1/1000, f/5.6, iso 1250, 560mm this is what 'they' gave me most of the time if I was lucky


                            #2 1/1250, f/5.6, iso 1000, 560mm a wren at long last - it was about 30 miles away (at least it seemed that way)


                            #3 1/1000, f/6.3, iso 640, 560mm very obliging Sparrow


                            #4 1/1250, f/6.3, iso 1600, 560mm Maybe they are that ugly to stop predators eating them?


                            Hopefully be able to get something a bit more usable tomorrow - back to racing, although it will be fun to see how long I hand hold it for, it's a bit of a monster lol
